My name is Lorena Castro. I live in Santa Paula and work at the East Campus LRC as a Lab assistant. I am a full time student. I have two small kids ages two going on three and a one year old. It is very hard working and attending school full time and still have homework when I get home and taking care of my kids. I did it last semester and I know I can do it this semester.

As for a major it’s undecided. At the end of this semester I plan on knowing what I want to major in. I’m considering something in business or maybe criminal justice. At this point I’m going to school for an AA. I rather be doing that for now until I figure out what I really want to do. I just know that I have to attend school to better educate myself for my kids.

I know this class will be good for me so I can learn how to write things in a better way. I know and feel comfortable in being in the class because from the beginning we got to meet each other and talk to each other. My classes last semester didn’t get to do that. It was said because the last day in my geography class is when we got to know one each other.

    Hi Lorena!

    what a pretty blog…

I didn’t know you have 2 children (did I?) wow, it is tough doing school fulltime with 2 toddlers! is the almost 3 year old in preschool? do you know about the one at VC?

I’m glad you’re comfortable in class. I agree it’s really nice to know each other!

I look forward to reading and responding to more of your posts!

My almost 3 year old is not in preschool at the time. I am thinking about puting him in one. Maybe when school starts again. Right now my mom watches my kids so i can work and attend school.
